International Torch Relay May Be Scrapped and well it should April 8, 2008

The IOC will consider scrapping the international leg of the Beijing Olympic torch relay as a result of the anti-Chinese protests that have dogged the event. Its path around the globe already has been marked by protests against China’s policies toward Tibet and Sudan. I think China is the worst example of a free society on the planet. I don’t see them changing anything they do for a LONG time if ever. Comments Welcome

China is a harsh country who abuses their own people, always. Celebrities and athletes surrounded by Chinese guards surrounded by police on bicycles surrounded by the media try to play relay with a torch whilst fending off Tibetan protesters.

Sounds like a great vacation idea!!! The State Department is advising Americans planning to attend the Olympic Games in Beijing to take care and be mindful that they could be under surveillance…China sounds like it really sucks the big one, duh!
