Citigroup Dies—But Slower with Richard Parsons January 28, 2009

Dick Parsons is now presiding over Citigroup, which means, as Michael Wolff says, that the institution will hang around longer, but the result won’t be different. It’ll fail. Parsons is a modern-day Zelig, a comforting, affable figure, who’s brought in as sort of an undertaker of troubled businesses.
