A total bitch of a lawyer who sent out hundreds of thousands of threatening letters demanding that alleged file-sharers pay 400 euros, has been banned from operating for 6 months. Elizabeth “tattletale” Martin, who had been working with Swiss anti-piracy outfit, Logistep, was condemned by the Paris Bar Council. They should throw away the key, what a total bitch! How weird another WIndows defector. The Swiss may be neutral, but they aren’t stupid! From next term, all computers at schools in the Swiss canton of Geneva will have MS Windows removed and will only run Ubuntu Linux and FOSS. Director for the schools IT services sees this move also to “encourages participation and the democratization of knowledge ” and provide equal opportunities.

This ISP is PUNK ROCK! GOOD FOR THEM! After getting an “unbelievably rude letter” from the British Phonographic Industry which demanded that ISPs disconnect file-sharers from the internet, the UK’s third largest ISP, Talk Talk, is in fighting mood. “Talk Talk rejects music industry threats and refuses to become internet police” says their statement.
